World Water Day

Every two years the Municipal Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment of Capital City of Warsaw is pleased to organize just in the Polish capital - World Water Day. The holiday was established by the UN General Assembly Resolution of December 22, 1992 - celebrated annually on March 22. The idea behind the event is to raise awareness of the European Union Member States to correct the impact of water on their economic and social condition. PRG “Metro”LLC , Hydrobudowa Poland JSC , Infra JSC and PBG Foundation are joined in the action of World Water Day as a unit in support of any pro-environmental actions.
The two-day International Scientific and Technical Conference on "Safety of drinking water in water supply systems", organized in celebration of World Water Day attracted many honorable guests from all over Europe. The conference addressed the issue of water pollution in urban and industrial areas, the dangers they bring, but also how to prevent it. Presented flagship business activity in Europe, which, thanks to modern technological solutions have delivered the highest standard of product-water, processed and drinking.
Professional preparation of all who attended the conference allowed all the guests to speak in discussions. The organizers made sure that everyone, despite the language barrier, they could share them knowledge and experience.
