Hosts PRG Metro and Municipal Water and Wastewater Capital City Warszawa SA organized a walk along the tunnel presenting technological capabilities Shield TBM stage of construction after the completion of sewer transmission of the left bank of the city to the Czajka wastewater treatment plant. The holy day of Sain Barbara
The first occasion was the dedication of shield TBM connected to the placement of the image of Saint Barbara in the shaft start building a tunnel under the Vistula to the Czajka WWTP(Waste Water Treatment Plant), which was held on the eve of start drilling. Shield TBM has completed his work
After 7 months, completed the task of drilling 1300 meters tunnel at depth 10 m the cavity at a depth of 1300m tunnel 10meters below the seabed of the Vistula. The shield was removed. Perhaps soon will face another great challenge building.

Completion of drilling a tunnel under the Vistula
November 22, 2011 year, shield TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) belonging to PRG Metro company completed its work, consisting in the execution of a tunnel under the Vistula River with a length of 1300 meters and inner diameter of 4.5 meters. This is the second phase of investments involving the construction of the siphon into the Vistula River, right banks collectors and facilities of Farysa objects and Ĺšwiderska objects. This is a key element of the emerging wastewater transmission system of the left bank district of Warsaw to the Czajka wastewater treatment plant, located on the right side of the river.
This task on behalf of the Warsaw waterworks executed by a consortium composed of PRG Metro (leader), Hydrobudowa 9, Hydrobudowa Poland and Infra. The contract value realized by the company from a Group Hydrobudowa Poland for Warsaw waterworks, having contained annexes, is over 163 million zł net.

Signing of Agreement to execute a tunnel under the Dead Vistula River
October 14, signed a contract to perform IV cutter Słowackiego Route in Gdansk. The task will be executed by the Spanish-Polish cooperation. The consortium creates Obrascón Huarte Lain - Hydrobudowa Poland - Aprivia - PRG Metro - PBG. Employer is the Municipality of Gdańsk, represented by Gdansk Municipal Investments. Within 36 months, for the amount of 885.6 mln zł gross Gdansk residents will move 2.4 km section of a modern road infrastructure, including two tunnels, with an outside diameter exceeding 12 m, a length of 1.4 km under the Dead Vistula River . That'll be the most important investment in Gdansk, that connect strategic points - the airport from the seaport.

Visitation on the syphon construction
The Deputy Mayor of Warsaw Jacek Wojciechowicz visited the construction of a tunnel under the bottom of the Vistula designed to combine the Czajka wastewater treatment plants plumbing left bank of the city on 17 May. The lowest price for a tunnel construction under Dead Wisła
Today the offers made for the tunnel under the bottom of Dead Wisła in Gdańsk construction were opened. The lowest price - 885.6 millions PLN gross - was proposed by consortium of following companies: PBG, Hydrobudowa Poland, Aprivia, PRG Metro and OHL.
The companies declared that the investment will be implemented within 36 months.
The contracting authority destined for the investment 375 m PLN less so he will have to find the missing money. Andrzej Bojanowski, Vice-president of Gdańsk, hopes that he will succeed: "I am not imagining the Słowacki Route without this tunnel, therefore I believe that we will manage to get bigger union funding". The total cost of the Slowacki Route reconstruction was estimated at 1.4 bn PLN, 60o/o of this sume is funded by the EU.

Devoting to the TBM Shield
The symbolic start of the shield TBM at the construction site of the tunnel under the bottom of the Wisla to the sewage treatment plant Czajka was on the 7th April 2011. The general contractor of the Tunnel, PRG „ Metro ”, wanted to keep tradition mining and cultivated it in Warsaw by consecrate in the starting mineshaft shield TBM, the chapel with Saint Barbara's figurine the patron of underground works which will stay there until the end of the construction.
Process of making the tunnel under Wisła isn't subject to provisions of mining law, but we decided that in case of realization project which is so innovative and not having the precedent in Poland, should appeal for the mining tradition and from time immemorial deep in it of present Patron. For this reason in the starting mineshaft by the Świderska road (Tarchomin est.), where complex shield TBM was assembled for the last 1,5 month, was placed Saint Barbara's figurine, which was made of anthracite, material immune on triggered damage with work of the shield.
A the same place held celebration of Devoting to the TBM Shield the St. Barbara and entire shield TBM, with the participation of the priest of Grzegorz Kocięcki, of parish priest of the nearby Parish of Roman Catholic Church under the summons NMP of the Mother of beautyfull Love, representatives of the Investor, contractors, cooperating companies and suppliers.
According to the TBM schedule achieved the status „ready to bore” (ready for work) already at 5th April 2011, however as the symbolic start we recognize the moment since when their Patron is looking after smooth progress of works and the safety of workers.
Drilling the tunnel about the length of the 1 305 m with the changeable depth (around 10 m under the bottom of the Wisla) will end in the receiving mineshaft on the Farysa street (Marymoncka knot). Works will be conducted by twenty-four hours per day, seven days during the week. In the time of twenty-four hours will be built from 12 up to 15 m of the tunnel. Expected completion of work of TBM is on August 2011.
TBM shield put in in the starting chamber
After a complicated logistics transport of the head shield TBM to the tunnel construction site on the Vistula River to Axis Czajka -the time has come for leaving the area to the mineshaft to the so-called located large bed of 10 m below the surface. This operation was divided in a few parts:
26 / 02 / 2011 both elements of the head were left removed from cars and placed on construction site
27 / 02 / 2011 the blade of the head about the weight of 70 t was left to the bottom of chamber
02 / 03 / 2011 front part of the head, after adding equipments the connecting scale of 85 t, came the large bed across safely.
Next- elements will be joined, at the front install additionally a cutting wheel will remain, and at the back so-called tail of the head about the trifling weight appropriately 42 t and 22 t. Ultimately behind the head 60 m of the equipment of disc complex which is installed successively in the starting chamber will be working.
Since complex with the equipment is disc the same how, in case of TBM machines which will begin construction of the central segment of the II underground line in Warsaw, only a diameter of the head is making us different for the c 1 m, then an information is also going out into the world about our potential for construction of tunnels of the underground railway. Our majority relies on it, that as first in Poland we will apply TBM, and perhaps the first can be only one. Be under construction works with us.

Shield of first Polish TBM is already on construction of the tunnel to sewage treatment plant Czajka.
The first in Poland TBM shield responsible in the complex for drilling ground came to Warsaw on the night of Friday/ Saturday 25/26 February 2011.After the technical acceptance at the producer disassembled into elements for the partial transport on huge platforms -The whole complex TBM( Tunnel Boring Machine) shield length 67 meters. From the factory in Schwanau, a town in southwestern Germany near the border with France, started a night transport TBM to Poland escorted by pilots and police . Specially designated routes to enable transport - Dimensions of the biggest loads, the middle part of the shield, weighing 70 t, 5.5 m in diameter and height of 3.4 m and the front part of a weight 60t, a diameter of 5.5 m and 2.6 m. To start work for drilling a tunnel under the bottom of the Wisla, in order to integrate the two banks of the river from the sewage treatment plant Czajka. The Shield is mounted and prepared to work. NEW YEAR’S GAL A OF PBG GROUP
On Friday evening, 14th January 2011 The New Year’s Gala was held in Poznan. It was a summary of the activities of all companies incorporated in the PBG Capital Group in the form of a competition to reward the extraordinary achievements of workers, and projects completed in the past year.
Mariusz Przewoznik from PRG Metro and Jozef Pawlowski from Hydrobudowa 9 jointly received the “Ace in PBG” award in the category “Contracts - Site Manager” for carrying out the construction of the collector feeder Czajka wastewater treatment plant in Warsaw.
Speech by the PBG Capital Group CEO Mr. Jerzy Wisniewski outlined to all invited guests plans for the near future, bringing new hopes for the development of companies in the group.
After the official part ��" the time for fun has come. Live concert performed by PBG Band made a great impression with the professionalism, because musicians are employees of companies from PBG Group. To the delight of many gathered guests a bar show and dances also took place.

On the stations website we can read news about our project realization. On the site of the construction of sewage providing collectors to the
treatment plant Czajka, which will connect the two banks of the Wisla
River by a tunnel under riverbed, for the first time in Poland we will use
